Kim Nugent
Cannelton Council District 3

Kim is a lifelong resident of Cannelton. She is seeking the Cannelton city council district 3 seat. This is her first time seeking political office. She resides in Cannelton with her two children, Whitney and Logan, both of whom attend Cannelton City Schools. Kim is a proud graduate of Cannelton High School.

She is an active volunteer in the school system and also with the Cannelton Democrat Committee. She attends St. Michael’s Catholic Church with her family and acts as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister. She serves as Vice-President of the St. Ann’s Society. She is an active participant of the CHS Booster Club and the American Legion Women’s Auxilliary. She is employed as a welder with Stewart Warner Aerospace Corporation.

Kim says “I am proud of being a citizen of Cannelton. Preserving our history through restoration and bringing new industry and businesses is a must for our small town. Cannelton has much to offer with continued growth and changes to make it an even better place to live and raise our families!”
