Jane James
Perry County Recorder

Jane was elected Perry County Recorder in 2004 and began serving her first term in 2005.  She served as deputy recorder from 1997 to 2004.  Prior, she worked as coordinator for the Perry County Soil and Water Conservation District for 16 years.  Jane has been involved in several community activities. She has been a study buddy, and taught children's religious education classes. She is a graduate of Leadership Perry County. James has been active in the Evansville District Walk to Emmaus serving on several teams. Jane's family includes her mother, three brothers, three sisters and their children.
