Candy Boerste

Candy Boerste, a graduate from Tell City High School, obtained her BS from Brescia University and her Masters from Indiana State University.  She retired from teaching two years ago as a speech pathologist for the Tell City Troy Township School Corporation.  As the wife of Dean and daughter of Ralph and Rose Reed and granddaughter of the late Claudia and Hugh Reed and Jess and Edith Dauby, Candy has been actively involved in politics a long time. Her family, on both sides, have always been democrats. She has attended several Democrat National Conventions – New York, Chicago and most recently, the one in Boston.  Candy has served as a director on SIRS and currently is a director for the Perry County Community Foundation and the Women’s Democrat Association of Perry County.  She is also a member of the state-wide District Council for the Indiana State Teacher’s Association – Retired.
