Brenda Powers
Troy Township Assessor

Brenda is serving her first four-year term as Troy Township Assessor.  She is a life long resident of Perry County who graduated from Tell City High School in 1969.  She is a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and a fourteen-year member of the Tell City Band Boosters having served on the board of directors for four years, which included one year as Vice-President.

Brenda has been a Tell City school bus driver for fourteen years.  Before entering the political field, she worked for ten years for Lincoln Hills Development and for Southern Indiana Appraisal Company.  Brenda is a certified Level – 1 Indiana Assessor or Appraiser.

Brenda is engaged to Larry Flannagan and is the mother of four children, Crystal who is a B-1 Bomber Pilot in the Air Force stationed in Abilene, TX, Travis of Rural Holland who works at Toyota, Stacie who is a teacher for Headstart at the North Perry Center and Brianna who is in the 9th grade at Tell City High School.
