Brandi Hess

Brandi Schwartz Hess serves as Vice President for Public and Media Relations for the Perry County Young Democrats and also serves on the Womens Democrat Association board. She graduated from Cannelton High School in 1996, and from the University of Southern Indiana with a BS in Computer Publishing and a minor in Business Administration in 2000. Brandi is the webmaster of perrycountydemocrats.com

While in college, Brandi was very active in student leadership serving in many positions in the Student Government Association, including Executive Vice President. She was also a member of USI College Democrats, O’Daniel Leadership Academy, and USI Advertising Club. While at USI, Brandi received the USI Vice President of Student Affairs Top Ten Student Leader Award twice, and Who’s Who’s Among Colleges and Universities Student Leader Award.

Telecommuting from her rural Cannelton home, Brandi’s relationship with USI continues where she is a Graphic Designer for their Web Services office. She also does freelance design-consulting work for local and Evansville area businesses.

Brandi is married to Ryan Hess. They have two sons, Cole and Blake. Brandi enjoys her Shih-tzu Chase, the Internet, reading, and the paranormal.

“I’m looking forward to helping the democrat party in its mission and goals. I also hope to give back to the community by organizing and participating in community based projects through the efforts of the Women Democrats Association and Young Democrats group.”
