Barbara Ewing
Clerk-Treasurer, Tell City

Barbara was first elected Clerk-Treasurer for Tell City in 1988 and is in her fifth term. Prior to that she served as Deputy Clerk-Treasurer from 1984 – 1987.

Barbara is a working member of the Indiana League of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers, having served as District Director and Chair of various committees. Currently she is on the Executive Board of Directors. Through the Indiana League of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers educational certification program, Barbara has earned the title of Indiana Accredited Municipal Clerk.

Barbara is active in the Tell City community where she is a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She has served in various organizations such as past president of Tri Kappa, past president of Tell City Mrs. Jaycees, American Legion Auxiliary, Tell City Historical Society, Southern Hills Counseling Center Board of Directors, Friends of Southern Hills Board of Directors, and Marksmen Booster Club.

Barbara and her husband Clay are the parents of two children: Micki Kidder
of Granger, Indiana and Matthew Ewing of Bloomington, Indiana.
