Alan Cassidy
County Councilman
Alan is a life long resident of Perry County, living on highway 145 near
Bristow with his wife Sandy. They have two children Brad and Brian
and two grandchildren. He is in his 11th year and his third term, elected
in 1994 the first time.
Alan has been very active in county government serving six years on the executive board of the Association of Indiana Counties as secretary, treasurer, first, second and third vice president, and in 2003 as president. He is on the executive board of the Association of County Councils and also served as president on that board. He is on the executive board of the Indiana Regional 15 Planning Commission. In 2003, he was awarded the outstanding County Council Member by the Association of Indiana Counties.
Alan belongs to the Bristow Christian Church, Masonic Lodge, Order of Eastern Star and is caretaker of the Bristow Cemetery and is on the Bristow Community Center board.
